Here at Writing on Point, we aim to misbehave. There are so many unique writers out there in the world with even more stories to tell. I’ve lost count of how many drafts go unfinished, and far too many stay buried in drawers or in the deep recesses of hard-drive megabytes. Every story deserves an audience, and that means getting it out into the world. It can be scary! Just remember not to panic (you have your towel, right?) and know that even great writers had to start somewhere.
Working at an independent press for seven years can teach you a lot. Some of it good, some of it bad, all of it was valuable.
I’m also an avid reader, movie-goer, and fandom lurker. One of my favorite ways to pass time is breaking down the story structure of my favorite episodes, books, and of course movies. So if you like that kind of thing, too, you can geek out with me while learning a thing or two about story craft along the way.
Writing on Point will be an evolving platform over the coming months as we build a community. Keep an eye out for requests for feedback, and I’ll send you extra goodies in exchange for anything you help me brainstorm.
